Mizuno’s Hot Metal titanium barrel is at the core of this bat. It’s incredibly hard and light, providing pop and response that you’ll feel from your first at bat. This bat has a three-piece construction joining the Hot Metal barrel with a Black Onyx Carbon handle. Break-in periods with Black Onyx Carbon are shorter than some competing composite materials, but it’s every bit as durable. The Black Onyx Carbon and Hot Metal titanium increase bat speed but they also work together for superior energy transfer to the ball on contact. Expect less vibration too thanks to the Dynamic Damper system. A carbon spiral wrap finishes the construction, providing a solid, responsive feel from the cap to the knob.
